The Noble Sanctuary is one of the three most important sites in Islam.
At its southernmost end is Al-Aqsa Mosque and at its centre the celebrated Dome of the Rock.
It enclosing over 35 acres of fountains, gardens, buildings and domes.
The entire area is regarded as a mosque and comprises nearly one sixth of the walled city of Jerusalem.

Saudi Aramco gives us a virtual tour of the magnificent Alhambra Complex.

The Alhambra complex was completed by Yusuf I (1333-1353) and Muhammed V, Sultan of Granada (1353-1391) in southern Spain, then known as "Al-Andalus".
The complete name is "Qal'at al-Hambra", which means "The red fortress"
This palace and fortress complex, the Alhambra is a wonder of the 14th century and truly a marvel to see. It is described by islamicarchitecture.org as, "not only the most important, but also the best conserved Arabian palace."

The Süleymaniye Mosque mosque complex was constructed by the great Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan on the order of Sultan Suleiman I (Suleiman the Magnificent), between 1550 and 1557 during the Ottoman Empire's golden age.
The complex is considered to be the most beautiful of all imperial mosques in Istanbul.
The mosque complex also includes four medreses, or theological schools, a school of medicine, a caravanserai, a Turkish bath, and a kitchen and hospice for the poor.
