Muslim Action: Project Sakinah vs. Domestic Violence, Islam America

Dar al Islam’s Vision includes the benefit that Muslims can provide to the American communities in which they live.

Islam lays out guidance for social action and involvement in community. We want to share our common goals and our common paths to a more perfect union.

Social Action projects integrate an Islamic perspective on ways to improve the situations in our communities.

Project Sakinah
An extensive project to support efforts to address domestic violence in the Muslim American community by stimulating awareness, teamwork, and action in the Muslim American community.

Islam America
A dynamic resource with information, commentary, and analysis relevant to the expansive presence of Islam and Muslims in North America which includes both thoughtful journalism and scholarly papers gathered from a variety of sources.
